This Customizable Rail Transfer Cart is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of the shipbuilding industry, providing a safe and efficient solution for transporting heavy and oversized materials—such as steel plates, hull sections, and engine components—across shipyards and assembly halls.
Application of Electric Railway Carriage
The rail-based design ensures stable, guided movement along predefined paths, reducing the risk of load shifts or accidents in congested work areas. The cart's modular structure allows for customization in size, load capacity (typically 10-200 tons), and deck configurations, including adjustable fixtures or clamping systems to secure irregularly shaped cargo.
Working Principle of Electric Railway Carriage
The Electric Railway Carriage gets power from the battery installed inside the car. The current is supplied to the pulling motor through an electric control system, which enables the car to start, stop, move forward, move backward, turn around, and change speed. The start-up DC motors installed in the car operate smoothly with high torque and low voltage, minimizing impact force to the reducer.
The Battery of Electric Railway Carriage
- The battery capacity depends on the cart load capacity. It can run 4 hours when fully loaded for non-stop working.
- The battery requires 6-8 hours for full charging. When at 30% power, it needs 4 hours to charge fully.
- The battery is easy to replace, requiring only about 5 minutes with a forklift or trolley.
- The service life of the battery is 3-4 years, with 1200-1500 charge cycles under normal use.
